The “insight” is the moment right before a design concept is thought of. Its the idea that sits at the center of the concept. For most of us its so wrapped up in the concept that we don’t even recognize it as its own thing (and that was certainly true for the MVA up until maybe 2 years ago) but once you can see the insight your ideation process will get blown wide open.
